The 50th annual, (Golden Jubilee) art show was a great success. We had
to reprint more copies of the program twice, the raffle earned $2485,

Do you want to hang your art in the Card Room and Room G at the Berger
Center?
For years, our members have hung their art works in Room G and the card
room at the Central Activities Center. There was a hiatus in the Covid
years, and ever since few artists seem interested in displaying their
works at these sites.
We decided to change the process a little, to see if any of you might
respond to this opportunity. We currently have our artists and
photographers displaying their works for two month periods in the foyer
of the Oaks Restaurant at the golf club, and are thinking a change to a
similar system for the card room and room G might be more attractive.
Three artist/photographers, one in room G, one in each of the two
sections of the card room, would hang and display their works for two
months at a time. This would give each artist/photographer an
opportunity to display more works at one time for possible sales, and
to hang them in arrangements they preferred.
If you want to participate, or have other comments, send Phil Wilkinson
an email at the association's email address, members@oakmontart.com.
