Bus trip to the Legion of Honor Museum to see the Mary Cassatt
Exhibition on Tuesday January 14th.
Tickets $30 (Legion of Honor members)
$50 (any Oakmont resident)
We are excited to announce we have a bus trip on Tuesday January 14th
to see the Mary Cassatt exhibition at the Legion of Honor before it
closes. The trip will be open to any Oakmont resident in addition to
OAA members.
Our new trip director Bob Tanner is the one coordinating this. Thank
you Bob! The other great news is that the Oakmont Community Foundation
is making a significant contribution to the cost of the trip. This
includes the cost of bus charter, and a subsidy towards the museum
entrance fee for those that are not members of the De Young/Legion of
Honor museum. We really appreciate their help making the trip
affordable.
The bus will leave the Berger parking lot promptly at 9.00 am and
return by approximately 4:30 pm. Tickets are not refundable. The
Oakmont Art Association and the Oakmont Community Association assume no
liability for the trip. Lunch is not included but the museum restaurant
has good meals. Deadline for signups is January 1st. We expect this
will be a very popular trip so sign up as early as you can. If you are

Legion of Honor members and include your membership number, or $50 for
non members. Include your telephone number and a contact person in the

10:30 am on January 10th.

Artshare
Our monthly Artshare meeting will be at 1 pm on December 16th in the
Art Room in the CAC. We'll have a mini Christmas party, so bring a
small plate to share.
Bring your work to share, or just come and view what other people have
been doing while the rain was falling outside!
